However, contrary to speculation, the altercation did not involve assaulting an audience member at the award show.


Hours after his release from police custody, Killer Mike, in a radio interview on Monday morning, brushed off the incident as a minor hiccup in an otherwise triumphant evening. Winning three Grammys, including Best Rap Album for his acclaimed work "Michael," the rapper exuded positivity despite the unexpected turn of events.
